As a treat for myself, I stayed at my beloved Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo. Spending a relaxing Hotel stay while taking in views that felt like a heavenly sanctuary was the perfect way to refresh. In the room, they had prepared a fruit plate with a message, Mandarin Oriental blend tea, and cereal cookies. Together with the chocolates I received at check-in, I savored each one carefully. For both dinner and breakfast, I used in-room dining and was able to enjoy my meal and drinks at a leisurely pace. Wanting to enjoy Valentine’s cake and chocolates with my drinks, I bought a heart-shaped cheesecake and heart-shaped chocolates from the gourmet shop on the first floor—it made for such a happy night. In the morning, I chose the Japanese set breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful tableware and the many carefully prepared dishes. The “Thank you always” message fruit plate became a wonderful memory—I took lots of photos after my meal. I also got to enjoy my favorite spa twice: once at night with sparkling city views, and again early in the morning at sunrise. I was also able to unwind in the in-room bathtub with hinoki bath salts. During magic hour at dusk and dawn—and while admiring the glittering night view—I felt truly grateful to be alive, filled with happiness and abundance. Thanks to all of your staff who supported me throughout my stay, it became an unforgettable 2-day/1-night experience right up until the very end. We had a very comfortable stay. The Onsen was wonderful, and my skin felt smooth after bathing. We visited to celebrate a family anniversary, and we truly appreciated your thoughtful attention during our meal. All the staff were cheerful and kind, and I had a very pleasant stay. At dinner, the proprietress even came to greet us in person, which truly moved me. Just one thing I noticed: The closet door (storage space) in the Room was loose and looked like it might come off. I happened to have tools with me, so I tightened the screws as a temporary fix. I know you are busy, but please check it once. The meals were delicious, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

Although it was cloudy on the day of arrival, I was able to enjoy the view the next morning. The Room was new, very clean, and comfortable. Above all, both dinner and breakfast were unique, delicious, and enjoyable. The hospitality was outstanding. I enjoyed sightseeing in Amakus

Unfortunately, due to the rain we couldn’t see the Tateyama Mountain Range, but the panoramic ocean view from the window was amazing. The bath was clean, and the Room was spotless—we were very satisfied. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to stay at again!

Coming from a landlocked prefecture, we were really looking forward to it! We were happy to be able to see the ocean from our Room and enjoy the view together as a parent and child. If I had to say one thing, I was hoping for an even more panoramic ocean view—haha. The meals were delicious as well. They were generous in portion and tasted great… and the luxurious dishes like blackthroat seaperch, crab, and abalone were all firsts for our whole family. We’re grateful to have made such wonderful memories! We also went to the nearby Teradomari Market, but we were so full that we couldn’t eat anything there. It’s an Accommodation that made us want to come back again. Thank you very much.

The ocean view from the Room was truly beautiful, and it made me strongly want a Multiple Night Stay. Both the buffet-style dinner and breakfast were delicious, and everything was clean and well maintained—I’d love to visit again. The staff’s service was also excellent! I stayed here around the same time last year as well. Choosing the chef’s recommended seasonal Beppu French dinner last year was absolutely the right call—it was so delicious that this year I splurged on the luxury course. Every dish was outstanding and delicious! Harumi must not let this chef go! The breakfast buffet was also fantastic—they even made an omelet for me. I’ll be back again next year when I return home to visit family graves, so thank you in advance.

I chose this Accommodation for my solo trip after hearing that Kaike Onsen is known for “beautiful skin.” My main purpose was a pilgrimage to locations from the NHK morning drama “Bakebake” (around Matsue City), but I’m glad I extended my trip and stayed here. It was a single Room, but the bed was a spacious double. Since it faced the sea, I could fully enjoy the powerful view of the Sea of Japan. As I booked a one-night stay with breakfast Plan, I can’t comment on dinner, but breakfast offered a good-value and tasty buffet selection. If only the quality of the rice could be improved a little... Overall, the price for this single Room (one night with breakfast) felt like great value. Thank you very much. It was a birthday trip to celebrate my friend. The cherry blossoms on the grounds were in full bloom, and the garden was beautifully maintained. Above all, the staff’s attentiveness was wonderful. We stayed in a Room on the Mt. Fuji side, and we were blessed with great weather, making it a truly happy trip. I would love to stay at Fuji View Hotel again.

Access was a bit tricky, and from a distance the building didn’t clearly look like a Hotel, but once inside, an amazing space opened up with panoramic ocean views. The check-in service and guidance to the Room were very courteous and made us feel at ease. Although it was a basement Room, the view from the sofa and terrace was breathtaking. The sea felt incredibly close, and beyond the window was an outstanding view. The amenities and Facility were also high quality, making it feel like a little luxury. We had made a Reservation for the No Meals Included Plan, but we loved the spectacular views from this Hotel so much that we also used the on-site restaurant. The course meal featuring local ingredients looked great and tasted wonderful—we were very satisfied. I’m not great with mornings so we didn’t have breakfast, but opening the bathroom window made it feel like an open-air bath, resulting in an amazing morning soak. The service, Facility, and food were all top-notch. It doesn’t have that flashy vibe of high-end Hotels in central Tokyo, but you can truly feel a kind of luxury that only this location can offer. It seems there are larger Rooms as well, so we’d love to come back next time with family.

It was great to be able to enjoy YouTube on the projector in a detached house without worrying about the surroundings. There was no outside noise, and we had a quiet and comfortable stay. The Facility were well equipped, including a BALMUDA electric kettle, and the large bathtub was spacious and very relaxing. There was an indoor bouldering area, which our child really enjoyed. The net laid underneath also looked comfortable. The tableware being stored in boxes was convenient, but it would be even easier to use if labels on the outside showed what each box contains. We also really appreciated the map and information about nearby restaurants. It might be even clearer if the restaurant introduction page listed each shop’s map number next to its name. We had a very relaxing time. Thank you very much.

We stayed here a few years ago and returned because of the outstanding, one-of-a-kind location right above the sea. We’ve used several properties in THE HOUSE series, and this one has the most impressive sense of closeness to the ocean. It’s a short walk from the parking area, but that actually adds to the special feel. The only disappointment was that both the red and white shabu-shabu broths at dinner were spicy. At our home, shabu-shabu isn’t something we associate with spicy flavors, and we chose a meal-included Plan because shabu-shabu is usually something children can eat as well. Since neither of us adults can handle spicy food either, once we realized both broths were spicy, we rushed to a convenience store to buy a non-spicy hot pot soup base... I imagine families with children may stay here too, so it would be helpful if the meal description clearly stated when only spicy options are provided. That said, both the meat and vegetables were very delicious.

Following our stay in January, we returned for another Multiple Night Stay. It was so comfortable that we changed our plans and came back to Ishigaki Island again this February, and had an amazing time. My companion went fun diving and encountered manta rays every day, and was thrilled to get closer than ever before. We look forward to staying with you again this year—and also on our already confirmed Reservation for next year!
