We went on a four-generation family trip. Everyone was happy, and we’d love to come again. My 9-year-old son said the udon-making experience was the best (haha).

The compact Room was filled with tasteful touches. Even in this humid season, the bedding stayed smooth and dry, and the gauze pajamas were soft and fluffy with an excellent feel against the skin. It was a quiet, soothing Accommodation during the holiday period.

This was my first stay at Sunset Resort Kanpu, and it exceeded my expectations. The property is located on a hill with an oceanfront view, providing a full tropical experience. The convenience store attached to the property is highly rated. It's just a 3-minute drive to the Churaumi Aquarium. I was initially concerned about the check-in process being at an unmanned front desk, but communication via video call was possible, and they assured me that assistance is available 24/7 by phone if needed. Security is excellent; only guests can enter at night as the lobby doors are locked and require a passcode for entry, which adds peace of mind. The room I stayed in was very clean with a comfortable bed, offering plenty of tropical vibes—a relaxing space that felt like having a vacation home in Okinawa. The view from the window was breathtaking, especially during sunset—it became an unforgettable memory. The kitchen had all necessary dishes for cooking, making long stays convenient for self-catering without any issues. What delighted me were the washing machine and dryer, two bathrooms, and two toilets—everything you could need! Even large families would feel no stress here—this earns high points indeed. As it's a condominium-style property without daily housekeeping services, having well-equipped appliances makes up for it perfectly. For this trip's meals: dinner was eaten out while breakfast came from the convenience store; however there’s also Starbucks within five minutes' walk away along with creative Italian dining two minutes away plus Hawaiian restaurants & several izakayas nearby too! Later I realized Sunset Resort Kanpu offers delivery breakfasts from "Mokulele," famous in Motobu Town (missed opportunity...) featuring French toast or fruit sandwiches delivered right to your room (unfortunately not this time...). Overall Sunset Resort Kanpu proved itself as an amazing place worth revisiting—and one I'd recommend wholeheartedly to friends looking for resorts!

The staff were very welcoming from check-in, and dinner was delicious. There was also complimentary drinks, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I had a very pleasant stay. The food was delicious, and there was so much that even I, with a big appetite, couldn’t finish it—I was very satisfied. However, although it was a Room where we could stay with our dog, the futon was a bit thin and not very comfortable to sleep on.

The other day, I had my annual “crab day” at Genmyoan again. This time they prepared Taiza crab for me, and I was able to enjoy it. It was three hours of satisfaction—satisfied, satisfied, truly satisfied. They do not serve hot pot dishes like “crab suki” here, and I agree that turning such great crab into a hot pot would be a waste. That is exactly why I keep choosing Genmyoan. They said it snowed quite a bit this year, but on my visit there was only a little snow left along the roadside. Genmyoan sits halfway up the mountain, and I believe it may be the only place with this kind of view looking down over Amanohashidate. The location is outstanding. As shown in the photos, being able to enjoy scenery that changes with time from your Room is very appealing. On the other hand, when it snows heavily, driving up the mountain road can be difficult. When I asked the proprietress this time, she told me that during severe snow they will come to pick guests up at Amanohashidate Station with rubber boots in the car. Being able to change into them at the station would be reassuring. (They provide Shuttle Service to the Accommodation regardless of snow.) Also, once you are past 70—even if it’s a once-a-year indulgent crab day—you may worry about not being able to finish everything. It seems they can adjust portions if you request in advance. If they can reduce the amount without compromising quality, you can keep enjoying it at any age. Because this relates to IKYU’s website meal listings and pricing, I do wonder how flexible such arrangements can be—but I would appreciate continued consideration for guests’ convenience. Lastly, their breakfast is also delicious: even when you feel you ate too much crab dinner-wise, you still end up overeating at breakfast. The Onsen has been refurbished and is clean. There is a tasting corner for chilled sake (you can sample and choose before dinner), and there is now a coffee room as well. There is also a room lined with CDs/DVDs/books from the owner’s personal collection; you can bring them back to your Room and enjoy them there. It feels like an Accommodation where each guest can find their own way to relax and have fun.

The food was delicious, and the views at this Ryokan were wonderful. We were lucky to have great weather, and we could watch the sun slowly set from our Room, enjoying a truly luxurious time. We stayed in a detached suite with an open-air bath, and it was extremely relaxing. As an Onsen lover, I was genuinely satisfied with the stay. The staff’s service also felt very pleasant. One small thing: from where the chair was placed in the Room, it was a bit hard to see the TV. Even so, it was an excellent Accommodation, and a Ryokan I would love to visit again.

Brand new and very clean. The price is reasonable compared to nearby facilities. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. ◯ Well-equipped Facilities - Almost new appliances such as refrigerator, microwave, air conditioner, and air purifier. - Washing machine available (not used this time). ◯ Okinawan Atmosphere - Okinawan house ornaments by the bedside. - A collection of Yachimun pottery dishes? ◯ Location - Ocean view on the west side. - Convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. If I had to mention... - Being a three-story building, moving between floors might feel slightly inconvenient for those not accustomed to it. - The air conditioner on the second floor is positioned low, which might make it feel cold when directed at the bed.

My husband and I drove there with our two dogs. The weather was lovely, and the mountain views from the Room were beautiful. The garden had a variety of plants and trees, and our dogs seemed especially happy—probably because it was more interesting than a wide open yard with nothing in it. They ran and jumped around like fish in water, and it took a while to get them back inside. The entrance has no steps, which made it easy to use, and the Room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable to sleep on. I’m sorry for the trouble we caused with things we forgot, but your response by phone was quick and very helpful. It was also great that Karuizawa and the Onsen were close by.

Smooth handling of a same-day online reservation. The facility near Lake Biwa was clean and well-maintained, allowing for a pleasant stay. After a long journey by land from Kyushu, I was able to relax and feel rejuvenated at the accommodation. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed a peaceful lake, soothing birdsong, and time that felt like a world away from everyday life.

Get off at a bus stop about 40 minutes from Tazawako Station (Shinkansen) and walk through heavy snow to reach the property. It’s an ideal location for enjoying the snow. True to its “sky” name, you can take in breathtaking snowy scenery. Even if it’s snowing heavily outside, the building is warm and comfortable. I stayed for two nights, and they provided a free shuttle to Tazawako Ski Resort, so it’s also recommended for skiers. The Onsen after skiing was amazing. When I visited, the snow on the road was nearly 2 meters deep—an irresistible setting for snow lovers.

The view from the Room and bath is spectacular. The mountains at sunset, the city lights at night, and the morning mountains with clouds—it's a sight you won't tire of all day. The Shuttle Service from the station was very helpful, especially since I didn't know that the sightseeing bus only operates on weekends. Komoro was enjoyable not just for Kaikoen Garden but also for strolling around town. I would love to visit again!

We also enjoyed complimentary ice cream after our bath. Breakfast was luxurious and delicious—I ended up eating too much (haha). The warm hospitality and thoughtful service from the friendly proprietress were wonderful. Thank you very much! We look forward to visiting again

Even though we checked in late, they accommodated us by providing a key box. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay. The only minor issues were that the shower water pressure in the bathroom was weak, and the body wash towel among the amenities felt a bit flimsy, but there were no problems with our stay. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

We expected it to be cold since this is a Ryokan in the snowy mountains in winter, but the heating kept everything comfortably warm, and we never felt cold. There was a bed warmer in the futon, which stayed warm until morning and was extremely comfortable. The Room was spacious and very clean—we were completely satisfied. The meals were heartfelt and truly delicious. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When we went smelt fishing, we were beginners and didn’t know what to do; even though they were busy, they stopped what they were doing each time we came with questions and helped us kindly. They also took our child’s hand and showed them how to attach the bait. It was just a one-night trip, but it became a fulfilling journey where we experienced genuine warmth from people. No Meals Included, but the service was very kind. Shuttle buses were available to various tourist spots, which showed how many guests they had.

After my first stay in April, I became completely captivated by Kito Nasu and decided I absolutely had to visit again within the year. This was my long-awaited second stay! Last time, I stayed for one night, but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this wonderful place, so this time I stayed for two nights! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a delightful blend of wood and incense scents that make you want to take a deep breath. The sauna was as amazing as ever!! The layout is well thought out, and the fresh air makes outdoor cooling sessions incredibly refreshing. If you're experienced with lighting wood saunas, it’s easy to get started; even if it’s your first time, there’s a clear manual provided so anyone can do it quickly! The bathroom amenities are thoughtfully stocked with MUJI products. There’s not only a hairdryer but also a hair iron available. While there is just one mirror in the space, it's spacious enough for two people to use comfortably. I absolutely love the Aqua Feel bath that amazed me during my last visit—it makes you want to soak endlessly! (This time I used it five times!) The washing machine and gas dryer are super convenient; they even provide high-quality fabric softener that leaves your laundry warm, fluffy, and wonderfully fragrant after every wash. The restroom plays soothing music when seated and has its own handwashing area—very convenient—and yes, even the restroom smells great! The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including a large refrigerator and plenty of stylish tableware. Everything here exceeds expectations—it feels like every “wouldn’t it be nice if they had this” has already been anticipated at Kito Nasu. Personally speaking, I don’t think there’s another private accommodation as charming as this one anywhere else. I’ve already started planning my next trip while searching through social media for similar private accommodations like Kito Nasu—but nothing compares so far! So now I'm thinking about visiting again early next year—this time for three nights! It truly feels like a second home where each visit makes you want to stay longer—a very relaxing accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We visited with 5 adults and 2 dogs. The stylish exterior and beautiful interior were impressive. The food was incredibly elaborate and delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the bonfire due to the rain, so we're looking forward to it next time. It would be even better if there were a comfortable sofa in the Room.

The ocean was right in front of us, and it was wonderful!! Since we don’t have a projector or a loft at home, it felt different from usual and the kids were thrilled. The bathtub itself isn’t very large, but it’s deep, so it was really relaxing. Breakfast was delicious too, and we’d love to come back in summer.
