I visited Kyoto with my mother to see relatives. As we had plans the next day, we decided to stay overnight and found this Hotel on Yahoo! Travel based on distance and price. Honestly, given the price, I didn’t have high expectations, but the entire Facility was very clean, and the staff at the front desk and restaurant were incredibly kind, which deeply impressed both my mother and me. My mother in her 70s mentioned that she really enjoyed the welcome drink. I would love to stay here again when visiting Kyoto. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience!

In spring, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom around the Accommodation and at the Kurushima Kaikyo Observatory, making it truly beautiful. From the Japanese-style Room, the large windows were wonderful—you could even enjoy an ocean view while lying on the futon—and the Room amenities and equipment showed thoughtful attention to detail. Needless to say, the food was outstanding! All of the staff were kind and very pleasant, too. Next time—whether for a celebration, an anniversary, or simply to refresh—I want to find any excuse to stay here again.

All the staff were smiling, kind, and helpful. The bath and the meals were great. While the Hotel has a sense of history throughout, it was very clean and comfortable to stay in. I would like to stay here again someday.

We stayed here with a large group in January. First of all, the traditional kura-style building is truly one of a kind. It has been beautifully renovated to suit modern needs while preserving the charm of classic Japanese architecture. It’s even more impressive in person than in photos, and you can really enjoy the building itself—perfect for anyone who loves architecture. The living room feels incredibly open, and even with a big group it never felt cramped. The kitchen was surprisingly spacious, and it was stocked with more than enough cookware and appliances. There was also a great variety of tableware, all stylish, which made cooking even more enjoyable. The dishwasher in particular was large and high-performance, making cleanup easy even for a big group. There are multiple bedrooms as well, so everyone can rest comfortably. This Accommodation is ideal for the purpose of “staying together as a large group and relaxing.” Overall it’s very spacious, so we could spend time there without feeling self-conscious. We only ordered breakfast, but it was simple Japanese food and very delicious. For lunch and dinner we arranged our own meals—buying ingredients at nearby supermarkets (Tsuruya and AEON are conveniently close) and cooking ourselves—and that became part of the fun of the stay. With such well-equipped facilities, this place is especially recommended for those who enjoy cooking. Even though it was cold around New Year’s, the inside was warm and comfortable. The separate hinoki bathhouse was amazing; you heat the indoor bath yourself, but the scent of hinoki wood and the atmosphere were truly relaxing. There is also another bath in the main house (with a modern tub), which you can use as well—and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of underfloor heating in the changing area there. We were highly satisfied with everything—the space, facilities, and overall atmosphere—and would love to visit again in a different season.

We stayed here as a family in February to watch the professional baseball spring training camps. Being in central Okinawa, it offers easy access both north and south, and for a trip with children we found the area around this Hotel very convenient—great for walking while enjoying ocean views and for getting around by car. The Hotel’s shampoo and other amenities have a spa-like aromatic scent, which my wife really loves. This time we visited Hamaya Soba, just a short walk from the Hotel, for the first time, and our kids were amazed by how good Okinawa soba was. This has become our go-to place to stay as a family. We’ll be back again.

The entire building is stylish from every angle, and my excitement soared the moment we arrived. My favorite spot was the lounge. The second floor is a loft space, and the kids were thrilled, saying, “It’s like a secret hideout!” They happily played there throughout our stay. The food was truly delicious, but what impressed me most was how we could spend time afterward. Even if the kids finished eating early, they could play in the loft right above us, so the adults could keep a relaxed eye on them while enjoying a slow evening with drinks in hand. Being able to unwind and enjoy an evening drink this calmly on a trip with children felt like pure luxury. We used the private open-air bath as a family. Every day, soaking together before dinner to refresh and then enjoying a wonderful meal became our happiest routine. We weren’t very familiar with the area, but the staff kindly recommended shops and Facilities in detail, so we were able to make the most of our day from morning to night. This is an Accommodation I truly recommend—an elegant space where you can have both children’s smiles and genuine relaxation for adults!

Other highlights include panoramic views of Tateyama Caldera, stargazing under clear skies, morning frost glistening in dawn light over Toyama Plain’s twinkling nightscape or stars above. A slideshow detailing Alpine Route development history alongside this Hotel’s legacy enriches your understanding of its heritage—a truly remarkable experience worth revisiting. However one concern arose: foreign staff members (likely due to labor shortages) repeatedly asked about rice/miso soup service within an hour into all-you-can-drink time despite good intentions perhaps miscommunicated; additionally simultaneous ignition between ceramic grill & sukiyaki caused rushed dining leading towards cooled dishes felt disappointing amidst otherwise flawless classic Hotel excellence!

With an amazing location where you can feel the ocean up close, we had a truly wonderful stay in a Room that reflects the owner’s attention to detail. Everything we needed was provided—tableware, cooking utensils, seasonings, coffee beans and brewing equipment, even a SodaStream and a water purifier—so our stay was very comfortable. The selection of dishes was also beautiful and made our meals look even better. Above all, we were soothed by the warm personalities and kindness of the owner couple. We have stayed in many places before, but this became the most special one of all. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

I’d been curious about this place for a while, and this was my first stay. The atmosphere felt like a condominium in Hawaii or Australia. There’s no kitchen, but the space and layout have that kind of feel. It has underfloor heating, so it seems like it will be warm in the coming season as well. The meals were delicious, and the portions were just right. Also, I logged into YouTube to watch something and forgot to log out. When I called, they kindly said they would log out for me—thank you so much. Thank you as well for all your help regarding the bath. I’d love to visit again!

We stayed for one night this time. The Room was clean and well maintained, and the Facility was fully equipped with everything we needed—truly excellent. Our children loved it too, and we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful time. Highlights 1) A beautiful terrace where you can also enjoy BBQ. 2) The BBQ equipment is neatly stored and easy to use. 3) Plenty to enjoy indoors as well, such as a large TV and a hammock. 4) Very well-equipped kitchen facilities. 5) Even a SodaStream!! 6) A handwritten message and snacks for the kids—such thoughtful hospitality!! 7) Both the Room and the building are very clean. I can’t list everything (lol). Points that could be improved (if I had to mention any) 1) Some outdoor lights were out (broken), and an LED light was also broken, so we had to use our phone light at the BBQ grill area (lol). 2) For the SodaStream, mineral water would have been better (the tap water smelled slightly). 3) There is a water purifier on the faucet, but when using it, hardly any water comes out... 4) It might be nice to have more towels. Even with these points, it’s still a perfect Facility. And although our communication with the manager was only by email and phone, they were very kind, considerate, and helpful! Conveniently located next to the live music venue, which was perfect. My Reservation was for a single, but they upgraded me to a double Room. The Room wasn’t especially large, but it was clean, well organized with everything I needed, and laid out in a very user-friendly way. Breakfast was also delicious. All of the staff were kind and helpful. As for one request, I would have liked a bit more light when doing my makeup. If the lighting by the bathroom mirror were brighter, it would have been even better. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff and the pool & bar staff were all friendly, kind, and pleasant. Thank you very much. The Room was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The pajamas were a separate (two-piece) type, and there was also a bathrobe. The bathrobe was convenient for going to the pool—you can change into your swimsuit in the Room and throw it on before heading out. There are many convenience stores and restaurants near the Hotel. Kokusai-dori is a bit of a walk away, but still within walking distance. We were able to relax and enjoy awamori and Orion beer in the lounge as well. It was February, but we could still use the night pool. The wind was cold so we couldn’t stay in for long, but it was a wonderful experience and we had a great time. The pool & bar staff spoke to us kindly and were very considerate, which made us happy—thank you again for everything. We would definitely like to stay again.

I chose this Hotel near the Imperial Palace for a trip to celebrate my birthday. My sightseeing plan focused mainly on the Imperial Palace area, Kanda-Jimbocho, and Ueno. It was a 2-night, 3-day trip. After checking the website and Reviews, I decided based on the view from the Room window, the breakfast buffet, and the location. When making my Reservation, I added comments about it being a special occasion and requested a good view from the window. On the day of arrival, I checked in around 4:00 PM feeling excited and nervous. The front desk was less crowded than expected, and everything went smoothly. Service The female staff member at reception had “In Training” on her name tag, but she was polite, clear, and so efficient that it didn’t feel like she was in training at all. Partway through, an experienced female staff member helped with the process and chatted with us about our anniversary and stay; she felt very approachable and left a great impression. When we were told “Top floor!”, my expectations rose even more. The male staff member at check-out was also sharp and professional. Room & Amenities Palace View Twin Room The Room felt a little small for luggage during a Multiple Night Stay, but the amenities were well stocked and I was satisfied overall. Above all—when I opened the curtains—the fresh greenery of the Imperial Palace grounds and moat came into view, with Shinjuku’s skyline in the distance. What an incredible location! On our first day we could even see Mt. Fuji far away—so lucky. Morning light, sunset, night views—everything was amazing. I’m glad I requested a good view. Bathroom 3-piece unit (toilet / sink / bathtub) Because the toilet is positioned right against the wall side, the toilet paper holder is very close to your body and slightly awkward to use. Dining We had breakfast buffet for one day—with an Imperial Palace view! It instantly lifted my mood in the morning!! Steak for breakfast—surprisingly delicious (my partner went back for thirds). Both steak and omelets were prepared at a live kitchen station; the chef had a wonderful smile and provided attentive service. If we’d had more room in our stomachs, we would have ordered another round—the food (and chef) were excellent! There was also plenty of variety across Japanese- and Western-style dishes; everything was satisfying. The salmon roe (ikura) and sashimi were especially tasty. There was also take-away coffee available at the entrance—a thoughtful touch that made me very happy. Access / Location Tips Takebashi Station Exit 3b connects directly to this Hotel; however if you have a suitcase, head to Exit 3a instead—take the escalator up, turn left, and you’ll reach it right away. For guests staying multiple nights or carrying lots of luggage، Exit 3a is recommended as it’s easier with bags。
