We stayed at the Family Lodge. It’s an older lodge, but it has an ocean view and was kept very clean, so we had a comfortable stay with no inconveniences. Highly recommended for anyone looking to refresh in nature. The lodge has a unit bath, and it seems you can also use the large public bath in the main building, so we’d like to try that next time.

At first, when I entered the Room, I was bothered by a perfume-like smell and something like spices, but... The bath temperature was very comfortable, and above all, the food was amazing! It was my first time seeing so much fruit at a buffet! I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for a girls' trip. Rather than being a perfectly polished and formal hotel, it was warm, friendly, and had just the right level of attentiveness, which made it very enjoyable. The staff at the shop had a wonderful smile. Their explanations were thorough and full of love for the products without being pushy, making shopping an enjoyable experience. The person who brought our drinks during dinner added a thoughtful comment after placing them and provided attentive assistance when we asked for help with taking photos. When we were looking for the facility's pool, an employee kindly approached us after overhearing our conversation with friends. The front desk staff who helped us log out of the projector in our room also provided excellent service. Even though it was just a one-night stay, I can still recall many faces of the employees who made an impression on me. Each hotel staff member seemed genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests could enjoy their stay comfortably and pleasantly. Personally, as someone who loves tableware, I appreciated dining with such cute dishes! As for the dinner course at night—while it was simply good—the presentation of dishes and beautiful scenery enhanced my overall enjoyment (laughs). You can enjoy free facilities like an indoor pool, table tennis area, simulation golf course, and more within the hotel. The relaxed yet attentive hospitality reminded me of overseas resort hotels. Personally speaking, this balance allowed me to unwind completely and have a wonderful holiday experience. At breakfast time in the dining area: I noticed that my table hadn’t been cleaned from previous use; I wiped it myself using a wet towel. When leaving my seat later on during breakfast hours—I ensured everything looked tidy before departing too! Some plates showed slight oil stains left behind which caught attention briefly but wasn’t overly bothersome either... Regarding room amenities: The hairdryer couldn’t be moved since connected directly nearby outlets lacked mirrors close-by hence felt inconvenient slightly while drying hair properly... However minor inconveniences aside—it remains such lovely accommodation where these small issues didn’t detract much overall charm whatsoever! Addressing those aspects would elevate guest experiences further undoubtedly!

I arrived by motorcycle. The parking area is under the roof right next to the front desk, and there are security cameras, so I felt safe. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Hotel and Room were both clean, and although I only added breakfast, it was very delicious. At check-out, they even saw me off, which made me very happy.

Coming from a landlocked prefecture, we were really looking forward to it! We were happy to be able to see the ocean from our Room and enjoy the view together as a parent and child. If I had to say one thing, I was hoping for an even more panoramic ocean view—haha. The meals were delicious as well. They were generous in portion and tasted great… and the luxurious dishes like blackthroat seaperch, crab, and abalone were all firsts for our whole family. We’re grateful to have made such wonderful memories! We also went to the nearby Teradomari Market, but we were so full that we couldn’t eat anything there. A quiet seaside Hotel facing Ise Bay, conveniently located near Irago Port on the Atsumi Peninsula. The large public bath on the upper floor offers wonderful views, allowing you to relax at your leisure while enjoying the Onsen. We especially loved being able to see the ocean from the spacious, open lobby, from the large public bath, and from our guest Room.\nThe guest Room was spacious and comfortable even as a triple (with an extra bed), and with a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows, the view from the Room was outstanding.\nEverything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Dinner was a luxurious buffet.\nBreakfast was also a buffet, with an excellent selection and generous portions.

A historic, Showa-era retro Accommodation where members of the imperial family, movie stars, politicians, athletes, and other notable guests once stayed. A Nepalese attendant provides heartfelt hospitality—more Japanese than Japanese—from welcome to dinner and breakfast service through to farewell. A two-room Room with a cypress bath and a beautifully maintained garden. Each dish is prepared with great care; the abalone and sakura shrimp sashimi in particular are as vibrant as they are delicious. The Hotel is located at Miho no Matsubara, and after breakfast we enjoyed a relaxed walk of about two hours to Hagoromo no Matsu, Kamagasaki, Kami no Michi, Miho Shrine, and Mihoshirube.

This was my first time using this accommodation. To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations initially, but I was more than satisfied. The facility and rooms were very clean with a casual atmosphere, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Amenities, coffee, and tea could be picked up in the necessary quantities at the front desk, which was convenient. The eco-friendly approach to toilet paper was also impressive. The breakfast menu had a good variety of options. Personally, I liked that the bread was cut into small pieces so I could try different types. My family used the large public bath and found it very relaxing; it helped relieve their fatigue as well. One point to note: Yahoo! Travel listed the parking fee as 500 yen, but at check-in, it turned out to be 1,000 yen instead. Upon checking later online, both the official website and other reservation sites mentioned 1,000 yen as well. While I didn’t confirm whether Yahoo! Travel’s information is outdated or if it should have been 500 yen after all, we paid 1,000 yen at check-in. Overall though, we were very satisfied and would love to stay here again!

The entire building is stylish from every angle, and my excitement soared the moment we arrived. My favorite spot was the lounge. The second floor is a loft space, and the kids were thrilled, saying, “It’s like a secret hideout!” They happily played there throughout our stay. The food was truly delicious, but what impressed me most was how we could spend time afterward. Even if the kids finished eating early, they could play in the loft right above us, so the adults could keep a relaxed eye on them while enjoying a slow evening with drinks in hand. Being able to unwind and enjoy an evening drink this calmly on a trip with children felt like pure luxury. We used the private open-air bath as a family. Every day, soaking together before dinner to refresh and then enjoying a wonderful meal became our happiest routine. We weren’t very familiar with the area, but the staff kindly recommended shops and Facilities in detail, so we were able to make the most of our day from morning to night. This is an Accommodation I truly recommend—an elegant space where you can have both children’s smiles and genuine relaxation for adults!

While the building has been reconstructed since then, it offers a unique atmosphere distinct from life below—cleaner and more comfortable than a typical mountain lodge. Relax with coffee while admiring the scenery from a sofa or join guided tours through wetlands. For those seeking adventure, equipped mountain hikes are available to explore further. Other highlights include panoramic views of Tateyama Caldera, stargazing under clear skies, morning frost glistening in dawn light over Toyama Plain’s twinkling nightscape or stars above. A slideshow detailing Alpine Route development history alongside this Hotel’s legacy enriches your understanding of its heritage—a truly remarkable experience worth revisiting. However one concern arose: foreign staff members (likely due to labor shortages) repeatedly asked about rice/miso soup service within an hour into all-you-can-drink time despite good intentions perhaps miscommunicated; additionally simultaneous ignition between ceramic grill & sukiyaki caused rushed dining leading towards cooled dishes felt disappointing amidst otherwise flawless classic Hotel excellence!

The weather wasn’t very good, and the Hotel itself felt a bit old, but the staff’s kindness and hospitality more than made up for it, and we were able to fully enjoy our Okinawa trip in comfort. Our kids were very satisfied as well. Since it’s located in Onna Village, it’s relatively easy to get to major sightseeing spots, and there’s also a beach, so we didn’t have much trouble. We were able to stay at a price you wouldn’t expect for an Okinawa trip—this is definitely a Hotel we’ll return to! I was slightly concerned about the limited amenities and the lack of variety in breakfast during a Multiple Night Stay, but there were far more positives than negatives. It truly became the best trip.
