Nasu Nogahara Onsen Hotel Aoki

I’ve stayed here many times, and on this visit I received a new welcome sweets voucher at check-in. It’s a recently introduced service that lets you enjoy desserts in the dining hall. With the free breakfast, private bath, and game area, the value is already outstanding—I was almost worried about how they make it work—but they’ve improved their services even further, which honestly made me feel a bit guilty (in a good way). Since it was strawberry season, I had strawberries and a strawberry smoothie, and both were delicious. I was completely satisfied with this stay as well. I’ll be back again!

Thank you very much!Our family of five was able to relax and spend a very comfortable time.Not only was the value for money excellent, but the Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style, and having two sinks meant we never argued. The paper towels were also very helpful.There were plenty of lockers, so we could hang up our outerwear properly.We could lounge around on the beds and lounge around on the tatami—so relaxing.There were four beds, and since we have small children, it was great that we could push the beds together at bedtime.There were also snacks with tea, and our daughter loved them and happily ate everyone’s share.As for the Onsen: in the private family bath, we could add water to adjust the temperature and soak at a leisurely pace. The hot spring water in the large public bath was quite hot, so our child couldn’t use the indoor bath, but the open-air bath was a temperature even kids could enjoy, and we were able to soak in an Onsen for a long time for the first time in ages. With pH 9.3 as expected—our skin felt silky smooth.Breakfast was Japanese-style and so substantial that it didn’t feel like it was free at all. The rice was fluffy, and I especially liked the okra with sesame dressing and the Onsen egg. I was also happy there was coffee.Dinner wasn’t included in our Plan, but we used meal tickets to eat in the large dining hall cafeteria. Everything was delicious. The sauce katsudon had a generous portion; the pork cutlet was fried crispily, and the meat was tender and tasty.All of your Hotel staff were kind. We may have caused some inconvenience in various ways, but thank you sincerely for taking care of us.We would love to stay again when we visit Nasu next time.
