Natural Hot Spring Houjou no Yu Dormy Inn Ikebukuro

I stayed here solo for a live concert trip.I had a Reservation for a Standard Double, but they kindly offered to change it to the Ladies’ Room free of charge since there was availability, which I really appreciated.The large public bath had a good Panasonic hair dryer, and although I didn’t use them this time, they also offer free late-night soba and ice cream—great services that made the stay very comfortable.It’s a bit of a walk from Ikebukuro Station, but there’s a convenience store nearby and the service was excellent, so I’d like to stay here again when I come to Tokyo.

This was my first short solo trip in a while. When I entered the Room and changed into the in-house wear, both items were size M. If possible, it would be reassuring if one could be provided in size L. What concerned me was the smell of the cushion and dust on the bed where I leaned back. However, as always, the bath was great and kept clean. The complimentary late-night noodles were delicious—I even had a second serving. Recently, check-in and check-out are done via self-service terminals, but rather than pushing that process, it feels warmer to prioritize the staffed counter when it is available. It was quiet at night and I was able to relax at ease. I love this Dormy Inn and will stay again. Thank you very much.
