It was a captivating experience, with the Ryokan’s dignified traditional Japanese architecture and its beautiful strolling garden that lets you feel the changing seasons. The historical stories passed down at Yoshino Ryokan were truly fascinating, and I have deep respect for the way it overcame the hardship of the major flood disaster in 2020 and was rebuilt with strength.This time I chose a Plan without dinner, but the Japanese breakfast provided was high quality, and the carefully prepared dishes gave me energy from the morning. The large public bath is small, but quiet and comfortable, allowing me to relax and soothe my fatigue.The warm and kind hospitality of the proprietress and all staff left a strong impression. In a calm atmosphere that has not been overly commercialized for tourism, this is a rare, authentic Ryokan that preserves the charm of good old Japan. With such wonderful offerings, it also delivers excellent value for money—I was truly satisfied. I would love to visit again in another season to enjoy this beautiful garden.
