This was my second stay. I really love the Onsen here—it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. However, I felt that the cleaning, especially around the Room’s water areas such as the washbasin, was not as thorough as it was during my previous visit. The late-night soba was carefully prepared and very delicious. Thank you very much.

All the staff were wonderful, and both the Onsen and the meals were excellent at this Accommodation. It was right when the cherry blossoms were beautiful, and it was great to take walks along the Nagara River, around the nearby streets, and in the park. Since it’s at the foot of Gifu Castle, I’d like to visit Gifu Castle next time. I stayed in Gifu for the first time by extending my trip a bit for an overnight stay before work in Nagoya. I think it’s great that you can access it in about 15 minutes by taxi from Gifu Station and about 35 minutes from Nagoya Station. Even when staying at a good Hotel, I had been tired of Nagoya’s lack of humidity, but I really felt that Gifu is full of moisture. I would like to stay again.

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I finally had the chance. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Above all, every staff member who assisted us was truly kind and wonderful. I would definitely like to visit again.

We rented the entire villa (capacity 8) but stayed with just four people, so our family could truly relax. For dinner, we treated ourselves and chose the Premium BBQ. The ingredients were excellent in both quantity and quality, and we also enjoyed a surprise thanks to our Diamond member benefits—everything was delicious. For breakfast, we had a great meal at a nearby cafe.\nThe in-room bath was an Onsen and felt wonderful. Our child, who usually only bathes at night when traveling, liked it so much that they even went in again in the morning.\nThe Room amenities were so well equipped that one night wasn’t enough to make full use of everything. We came hoping to see Usuzumi-zakura, but the blossoms opened early this year and we missed them, which was disappointing—but thanks to TEF, it still became a very enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.\nWhen we need some relaxation, it’s an easy trip from around Nagoya, so we’d love to visit again.

The Room was clean, and the parking lot was flat and easy to park in. I’m not comfortable with large public baths, so I used the bath in my Room, but I wish it had been large enough to stretch out my legs. Breakfast was also delicious and satisfying.

The Onsen was great, and the food was delicious. I’d love to come again! It was also wonderful to watch the cormorant fishing from the river.

Early check-in was not available, but the staff upgraded our Room, and we were able to relax and enjoy a very comfortable stay. The view of the Nagara River from the bathroom was also wonderful. Breakfast included Gifu specialties and was delicious. We didn’t have time to use the fitness facilities this time, but we’d love to try the sauna next time. Thank you very much.

It’s not a new Hotel, but the staff are very helpful and the breakfast service is good, so I always stay here when I go to Gifu. It’s also conveniently located near both JR Gifu Station and Meitetsu Gifu Station. I’d like to stay here again.

The female receptionist was very kind. When I told her I wanted to park a tall vehicle, she gave me a map and showed me where to go. The Room was clean, and the bathroom and toilet were well maintained. Breakfast included smoothies and vegetable dishes, which made me happy to have such a healthy menu.

I unexpectedly needed to stay in Gifu and chose this hotel for my accommodation. It was a smoking room, but the smell was not bothersome, and the simple room was very pleasant. Breakfast was included, making it a very satisfying trip.

About a 5-minute walk from JR Gifu Station, the location is very convenient. However, there is an area that looks like a huge abandoned district along the route between the station and the Hotel, which gave me pause for a moment (lol). It is said to be the remains of a textile wholesale district that flourished from the postwar period through Japan’s high-growth era. If you take a closer look, it has an old-time charm, and it may be an appealing spot for those who enjoy Showa-retro vibes. Once I arrived at the Hotel, the atmosphere changed completely—bright and refined. The Room was typical of a standard city Hotel, well cleaned, and I was able to stay comfortably without any particular inconvenience. There is a coffee machine in the first-floor lobby, so being able to enjoy regular coffee without going to a convenience store is a thoughtful touch. It takes a bit of practice to use it, so if you’re unsure, ask the staff. (I had seen the same type at another property before so I knew how to use it, but it might be tricky if it’s your first time.) What really stands out about this Hotel is how lavish breakfast is. They offer a wide variety of local specialties—Gifu Hatsushimo rice; Hida nameko mushroom soup; mini Takayama ramen; boiled dumplings with Meihou ham; Hida beef croquettes; Ogaki mizu-manju; gohei-mochi; and more—making for an especially enjoyable start to the day. With many Hotels of similar size and price range around the station area, I think it’s wonderful that they differentiate themselves in this way. I’d love to stay again if I have another chance.

Located just steps from Meitetsu Gifu Station, the Hotel is clean and well-maintained, likely because it is relatively new. The Room was spacious for a Business Hotel. However, the mattress and pillow were firm for my preference, causing discomfort in my back and head. Additionally, the thin blanket made it difficult to stay warm without increasing the air conditioning temperature. While this was disappointing for me personally, everything else about the Hotel was excellent.

I stayed here again after a long time. As always, the courteous service made me feel at ease. The Room has been renovated, and the unit bath was very clean. It was very comfortable. The amenities are well stocked. In addition to green tea, there is also coffee and black tea. I had breakfast, and there was a good variety of dishes and everything was delicious. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

I have stayed here many times when returning to Gifu. Sometimes I book a Multiple Night Stay, and it is always comfortable. There are restaurants nearby, which is convenient. This time, since it was a Multiple Night Stay, thank you for responding quickly to my last-minute request. I will let you know in advance next time. I would like to continue staying here in the future.

On the first day of our trip, we made a last-minute Reservation when we arrived. The building may be old, but it was very clean, and we were satisfied with everything—the towels, pajamas, amenities, Wi‑Fi, location, and price. We were also glad we could book a smoking room. We walked out for dinner, and in the morning we had breakfast at the Hotel. You can choose curry or toast, and the rest is buffet-style. For this price, being able to enjoy a tasty breakfast was very satisfying. My only regret is that I chose toast. I hesitated about having curry in the morning, but I’m sure it would have been delicious. We rested well and had a great trip.

Whenever I return to Gifu, I always stay at a Hotel near Gifu Station. The room is a good size. The amenities include everything I need and are more than sufficient. The bathroom was comfortable, and I was able to relax in the bathtub. Thank you as always for arranging taxis and assisting me. Overall, I have stayed here many times and think it is a very good Hotel.

We stayed in the detached Accommodation. When we called in advance, we were told that it would be possible to add one more set of futons in addition to the 7 guests on our online Reservation, so we stayed with 8 people. Even with 8 people, it was spacious enough, and we had a very comfortable stay. There were signs indicating areas that still use items from the former Ito Ryokan, and tasteful decorative touches on the walls like small kumiko-style woodwork—overall, the interior was even more stylish and beautiful than expected. It’s only a short walk to the main building, but we really appreciated having Shuttle Service as well. The meals were delicious, and drink orders were handled promptly and efficiently, which left a great impression. The large public baths and open-air baths in the main building were wonderful on both the first and second floors—each had its own charm—and being able to enjoy both at night and in the morning was very satisfying. After letting them know in advance that we would be traveling with an infant, they prepared a diaper trash bin and baby soap in our Room. Our three-generation family had a truly pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

On May 17, I stayed at the culinary Ryokan Ueto. That day, I was lucky enough to have the place entirely to myself, and I’m truly grateful. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the proprietress and immediately felt it was a calm, lovely place. Unlike a Hotel, there is no elevator, so I carried my luggage up to my Room on the third floor. It’s a small but comfortable Room. The bath was also private—having the entire Ryokan reserved felt incredibly lucky. The water is on the hot side, but it was very relaxing, and then came dinner. Dinner was a full-course tofu meal. Dish after dish arrived; everything was delicious, and I ended up eating too much until I was completely full. (There is more than enough food to finish.) A peaceful day passed, and after enjoying breakfast, I found this Ryokan wonderfully homey. It was an overnight stay filled with thoughtful hospitality that I deeply appreciated. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Culinary Ryokan Ueto—thank you very much for taking such good care of me. Thank you.

We stayed here for the second night of our road trip. (We were completely exhausted.) The Room was quiet, so we could relax and recover for the next day. (If I had to be picky: 1) The bathtub is small, so it’s hard to stretch out your legs. The shower is more than sufficient. 2) The TV is relatively compact, and there are no BS channels. For those points, I’d deduct one star each.) Since we used the underground parking garage, getting to and from the car was easy. (No worries even on rainy days.) Because we were able to relax in a quiet Room, I give it 5 stars.
