I had been wanting to stay here for a long time. The lobby has a wonderful resort atmosphere, and when I entered the Room, I was greeted by a Kobe-like mosaic view from the spacious balcony. At night, the Ferris wheel was beautifully illuminated. Breakfast was delicious as well—especially the hamburger, which was outstanding! The staff’s smiles and hospitality also became a great travel memory. I decided to make this my regular Accommodation in Kobe—thank you for taking such good care of me.

We stayed here during our trip to Okinawa to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The front desk staff were friendly, and the Room was clean—we were very satisfied. The location is within American Village, which made it easy to enjoy the area. We heard that the Chunichi Dragons were holding their training camp at the stadium next door, and we would have loved to see it if the timing had worked out. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Okinawan dishes, and it gave us a great start to the day.

This was my second stay this year because I particularly enjoyed the food last time. Originally a bank's retreat, the compact front desk and building layout reflect its history. There is no greeting upon arrival, luggage assistance, or farewell service (you carry your luggage to the third-floor front desk yourself and leave on your own). However, I appreciate the stunning ocean view from the hilltop location and the cozy atmosphere with only 10 rooms. The Onsen features a 78-degree natural hot spring source, with a slightly small but pleasant open-air bath and high-quality massage chairs. This time, I stayed in a Western-style room near the elevator that was added later; it was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The only downside was that the sink and toilet were adjacent without separation—though it did provide an open feel upon reflection. Dinner could only be enjoyed at the restaurant (unlike last time when in-room dining allowed for more relaxation), which was disappointing as wearing loungewear is not permitted—I would have preferred to dine in a relaxed atmosphere in loungewear. Starting February next year, dinner times will shift to two seatings; however, I hope they maintain flexibility like now where you can choose every 30 minutes. The food met expectations—delicious despite not using particularly expensive ingredients—with intricate sauces and beautiful presentation that truly felt like fine cuisine. Breakfast also offered plenty of variety and quality. Before dinner at the lounge, I ordered Royal Milk Tea which was so delicious that I ordered it again in the morning while enjoying an elegant atmosphere with ocean views through large windows. A staff member kindly offered to take my photo during this time while explaining distant scenery details—a friendly gesture that elevated my impression of this accommodation’s overall service level. Its convenient distance from Osaka makes me want to visit again!

We were very satisfied with the price and service at this cottage. It was in a great location right in front of Nagura Bay, and the sunset was beautiful. Our whole family had a wonderful trip and was very happy.

We came hoping to see Usuzumi-zakura, but the blossoms opened early this year and we missed them, which was disappointing—but thanks to TEF, it still became a very enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.\nWhen we need some relaxation, it’s an easy trip from around Nagoya, so we’d love to visit again.

This was my first stay in Kobe in a while, and I had a very satisfying time thanks to the calm interior decor (Tango no Sekku) and the relaxed atmosphere. Of course, the staff were attentive and the food was delicious. The Okura name is clearly being carried on, and I would like to visit again next time.

The furnishings were also refined and tasteful. For dinner, we ate at Kitano Terrace, higher up from the Hotel, with a beautiful view of Kobe’s night skyline. The food was excellent, and we enjoyed both fish and meat as main dishes. It was a wonderful dinner where we could enjoy both the view and the meal. As a palate cleanser before the final dessert, we were served shaved ice topped with homemade strawberry jam. It surprised me a little, but it worked well as a transition between the courses and dessert. And then the final desserts arrived on a cart! We enjoyed Opera cake, cheesecake, strawberry tart, canelé, pudding, and chocolates as well. We fell asleep still savoring the afterglow of dinner, and breakfast the next morning—an extension of that experience—was beautifully presented with thoughtful table setting. The ingredients were health-conscious and well balanced; it truly lived up to its reputation as “the world’s best breakfast.” We would love to visit again.
