Even though we checked in late, they accommodated us by providing a key box. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay. The only minor issues were that the shower water pressure in the bathroom was weak, and the body wash towel among the amenities felt a bit flimsy, but there were no problems with our stay. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay with our dog again this time. The Room had been renovated, and the bedding was significantly improved compared to before. Face towels and bath towels were provided for the number of nights and guests, making our stay comfortable. With the ocean right in front offering great views and well-equipped self-catering facilities, we would love to stay here again.

I fell in love with Kushiro and this was my second stay. The Hotel is close to the sunset tour departure point, and its central location made it easy and convenient to get anywhere. Even with a small child, the Room was spacious and clean, and the Hotel staff were warm and welcoming. The front desk and breakfast venue staff were especially kind, making our trip truly pleasant.

I stayed at Mikaku no Accommodation Yamadaya on the second day of my solo trip to Tottori. The place is a bit old, but it was very calm and relaxing, and I was able to take it easy. Since I had crab on the first day, I chose the shabu-shabu course. The portion was so generous that I couldn’t finish it all by myself and ended up leaving some behind—I’m truly sorry about that. Still, it was delicious and I was very satisfied. I don’t usually like ponzu sauce, but the ponzu served with this shabu-shabu was surprisingly easy to enjoy. The thoughtful care as I was leaving also meant a lot. I’d like to stay here again when I come back to Tottori. Thank you very much.

I booked a plan that included dinner. The room was just the right size for spending time with my family. The shower room in the room felt a bit small, but there were no issues using it. Dinner was excellent, with plenty of seafood to enjoy. There was so much food that we couldn't finish it all... We felt sorry about that. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you very much!

Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Dinner starts at 6 PM. On the first night, we had steak as the main dish, but to our surprise, steamed sea bass in foil and a refreshing sorbet were also served! The baths include a family bath and private baths, available until 10 PM if not in use. Oil cleansing, face wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided—perfect for those traveling light without specific preferences. Lotion and moisturizer are also available. On the second night, we enjoyed cheese fondue and hamburg steak for dinner—a truly satisfying meal!

Visited for the first time in over 30 years. We were able to relax thanks to the delicious food and warm hospitality. The bath also has a washing area, and while the Room is old, it was clean and spacious enough—very satisfying. There’s also a souvenir corner, so we didn’t have to go to the crowded souvenir shops at the port. The Wi‑Fi was a bit hard to connect to, but it actually turned into a nice digital detox. My parents were happy too. Thank you very much.

Although it was my first time in Tateyama, I chose this place because I was looking for somewhere with an Onsen and just the minimum necessary Facility. However, the Room was clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful, and there was an ocean view through the window. The Onsen was also great for me personally, and overall it exceeded my expectations—highly recommended. It’s close to the station and there’s a convenience store nearby, so I didn’t have any trouble during my stay. By chance, I was able to make a Reservation for the newer annex building. The interior matched what was shown on the website with no exaggeration or false claims. I stayed only one night, but it felt like a waste not to stay two nights or more because I was that satisfied. Also, while it is near the coast, it’s set back a bit from the sea—so you won’t hear waves clearly. If you’re expecting that soundscape, please keep this in mind. And above all, dinner was luxurious! We ordered a sashimi boat platter, but even without it there would have been more than enough food—the number of dishes was almost too much—so I thought it would be nice if that could be chosen as an option. (Though perhaps generous portions are part of what they pride themselves on.) Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji; I’d love to try again next time.

The tent is equipped with a bed, refrigerator, and air conditioner, making it easy and enjoyable to go glamping. The kids especially loved it! The breakfast was incredibly delicious—highly recommended! The portions were large, and I wished I could take some home. There are shower rooms available, one for men and one for women, but you might have to wait at times. It's understandable though.

The ocean view and service were excellent, but for a Hotel of this class, the lack of amenities in the Room and the use of a very cheap hairdryer left a poor impression.

Before visiting Himakajima, I researched accommodations and found that the reviews were not very favorable, so my expectations were low. However, the staff at the accommodation were all incredibly hospitable, providing exceptional service throughout my stay. While it was not an onsen, the large public bath was spacious and relaxing, offering a similar experience with views of Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay. The sunset from the room was extraordinary—a scene reminiscent of a novel's opening line describing "a magnificent twilight," visible across the peninsula. The only disappointment was hearing that octopus catches have been poor recently. I look forward to visiting again when I have another opportunity.

This was my first time staying at an accommodation where we rented the entire property. The house was spacious, and the kids were thrilled! The view was amazing, and it felt truly luxurious! However, the road leading to the facility was quite complicated and steep. It felt narrow enough to wonder if a large car could pass through safely. When we unlocked the room and entered, the air conditioning wasn't on, so it took quite a while for it to cool down. There were some insects, but having a vacuum cleaner available was very helpful. The food was delicious! We had shabu-shabu, and I noticed there were a lot of shiitake mushrooms—quite amusing! There was plenty of food overall, but for big eaters, I recommend buying extra before arriving. Once inside, going out at night is challenging due to the complex roads. The amenities were high-quality and satisfying. However, since the dishwashing detergent provided is eco-friendly, it struggled with removing oil stains effectively. We stayed as a group of seven people. The rice cooker provided was small, so we had to cook rice in two batches. It would have been nice if there were sanitary boxes in the toilet. Although there were some minor concerns here and there, we truly felt luxurious during our stay, and we enjoyed spending quality time with family. The view was absolutely stunning—we left feeling very satisfied! Thank you very much!

It was my first time using a youth hostel for a business trip, but it was very easy to talk to everyone, and the other guests maintained a comfortable distance, making it a very pleasant stay. They offered a shuttle service to the town-operated hot springs, and also provided transportation to the JR station, with a welcoming attitude of "ask us anything if you have any issues with your stay," which was really great. Located in Kiyosato Town, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Shari and a sky full of stars, they also offer services like recording footage with a drone. I highly recommend visiting if you want to create lasting memories.

We stayed as a family of four, including a child who will turn 2 in a week and a 6-year-old (preschooler), with the main plan being to visit the Churaumi Aquarium on the second day. The location was easy to find thanks to clear signage. Since the parking lot is a bit far, we recommend checking in early, leaving your luggage in the room, and then heading out for activities. The room had two large beds, which was one of the reasons we chose this accommodation. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and it was helpful that you could take off your shoes before entering the room. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. We rented extra towels for our children at an additional cost. The room was clean and comfortable; however, we had trouble with the shower as it didn’t provide consistent hot water despite operating the water heater switch in the room—it only lasted about 30 seconds at one temperature. Perhaps proper instructions would have helped resolve this issue? For families with long-haired children like ours, bringing your own hair dryer is recommended since the provided one has low airflow strength. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our stay; otherwise, I believe we could have enjoyed beautiful ocean views from the balcony. The next morning we received bread for breakfast along with portions for our kids as well! However, note that their orange juice has a fizzy or tangy taste more suited for adults. Another reason we chose this accommodation is its excellent location—very close to Churaumi Aquarium! We arrived right when it opened and enjoyed watching whale sharks peacefully from in front of their large tank during quieter morning hours. Overall, considering its proximity to attractions and staying within budget limits made this stay very satisfying—thank you so much!

Dinner was an all-you-can-eat sukiyaki, and I was amazed by the incredibly tender and delicious meat. Breakfast included a variety of side dishes that went perfectly with unlimited rice, plus grilled meat in the morning! However, the site did not mention that dinner would include crab and sashimi platters or that breakfast offered unlimited shirasu (whitebait) and eggs. Even considering those points, the meals were absolutely fantastic. Additionally, during both breakfast and dinner, there were 2L bottles of juice available for unlimited refills (hot coffee and tea were also provided). Of course, the bath was amazing too. Unlike some reviews mentioning private baths being too hot, it was at a perfect temperature where you could comfortably soak for 30 minutes!

It was my first time visiting Oki Island and trying glamping, and everything exceeded my expectations—it was truly an amazing experience. Enjoying a BBQ while watching the beautiful sunset was unforgettable, with melt-in-your-mouth Oki beef that had a rich flavor, large oysters raised in Oki, and exceptionally delicious onions from the region. In the morning, I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and waves crashing, cherishing the peaceful moment of sipping coffee while watching the sunrise. Although it was my first glamping experience, everything—from inside the tent to water facilities, showers, and toilets—was very clean and convenient. Even as someone who isn’t fond of camping, I found it incredibly comfortable. The staff were always smiling warmly when greeting us but maintained just the right amount of distance for a pleasant stay. Thanks to them, we enjoyed two very relaxing nights here. I would love to visit again!

We stayed on 9/21 as a couple with our dog. The space was just right for us without any waste! The mini dog run in front of the Room had grass clippings left as they were, so we had to start by clearing them outside the fence ourselves... The large dog run was completely unmaintained and overgrown with grass, which was disappointing since we were looking forward to using it. We scheduled dinner at 7:00 PM, but it was already dark, and the light at the entrance alone wasn’t enough. It would have been nice if there were outdoor lights near the table. However, the food was delicious, and we enjoyed a relaxing time. Most importantly, not having to prepare or clean up ourselves was the best part! The breakfast sandwiches were also very tasty. We were looking forward to watching the sunset but couldn’t see it from our Room, which was unfortunate. I forgot to ask if there are ocean-view Rooms available for guests with dogs in general. Despite some points mentioned above, we had a wonderful time! Thank you very much!

Stayed for two nights in late November. We were three women and found this accommodation to be absolutely satisfying in every aspect. The view is stunning, with the ocean right in front of you. The building itself is luxurious and meticulously designed without any compromises. Remarkably, it is equipped with the latest high-end appliances. The tableware includes Iittala, and the dining area features Carl Hansen furniture, showcasing attention to detail throughout the space. The room's fireplace was cozy, and we could even enjoy BBQ on the terrace. This time, we fully self-catered using Itoshima vegetables, which made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Of course, what truly matters is what's inside—the staff were warm and supportive from afar with friendly smiles. It was a wonderful accommodation that I would love to visit again!
