Fufu Nikko stands on the historic grounds of the former Tamozawa Imperial Villa.Surrounded by a sacred atmosphere and towering centuries-old cedar trees, the Accommodation offers a serene and refined retreat.Throughout the property, design motifs inspired by details from the Imperial Villa—such as decorative nail covers—are thoughtfully incorporated, creating a beautiful harmony of history and modernity.If you enjoy architecture and design, I recommend visiting Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park with a guided tour before check-in. It will deepen your appreciation of the craftsmanship woven into this Accommodation.For dining, we enjoyed outstanding local ingredients such as Nikko (HIMITSU) pork, Nikko-brand “Jiyomai” rice, Nikko yuba (tofu skin), and Nasu Highlands “Amakobore” tomato juice.Both breakfast and dinner were beautifully presented on Fufu Nikko’s distinctive tableware—delicious for both the eyes and palate—and we were also grateful for their attentive allergy accommodations.We visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the staff kindly helped with our surprise with warm, thoughtful care, making our stay truly moving and unforgettable.From hospitality to ambience to cuisine, this is an exceptional Accommodation that promises a luxurious escape from everyday life in every way.

After staying at Fufu Hakone with my family in January, we became big fans and wanted to try another Fufu, so we made a Reservation. The entire Accommodation features beautiful interiors that blend Taisho-era romance with Fufu’s signature simple modern style. The refined atmosphere shows attention to detail throughout, and together with the calm, attentive service from the staff, it created a gentle ambiance that allowed us to truly relax.For dinner we enjoyed a Japanese kaiseki course, with delicate flavors and an abundance of seasonal spring ingredients—it was outstanding. The staff member who served us also chatted naturally while bringing sightseeing brochures and other helpful materials; it was exactly what you would expect from such a high level of hospitality. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we finished everything.The private Onsen in our Room was spacious and made us feel wonderfully indulged. The large public bath also has an open-air bath, and soaking slowly during the slightly chilly season was incredibly relaxing.After check-out, one of our family members accidentally left something behind and caused you trouble; we are very grateful for how smoothly you handled it.Following our stay in Hakone, this visit was also wonderful, and our whole family was very satisfied. We would love to visit Fufu Nikko again—and we’re eager to stay at other Fufu properties as well!
