A resort Facility surrounded by vast nature spanning 2,000,000 m² at an altitude of 700 m. Enjoy natural Onsen & spa and a sauna, and bring your dog in all guest rooms. There is a lakeside dog run, guest rooms with private dog runs, and rooms with an Onsen or sauna—some also feature a wood-burning stove in winter. Stay in cottages scattered throughout the forest and enjoy a private getaway.

  • We enjoyed the wood-burning stove!

    Although the past few days had been so warm that the snow from the previous week seemed to have melted away, we found plenty of remaining snow when we arrived and were able to fully enjoy the cozy warmth of the wood-burning stove, just as we had hoped. The Facility was also well maintained and very clean considering it is pet-friendly, and the Onsen was excellent. We would love to stay again on another occasion.

  • Very satisfied.

    This was our first time using this accommodation for a trip to visit a family grave. We have stayed at various accommodations with our pet before, but this was the best experience so far. The cottage design was adorable, and even the Air simple bed seemed comfortable enough. We enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast buffets, and the free buffet corner exclusively for dogs was well-stocked, leaving our dog very satisfied. Of course, the human buffet also had a wide variety of options and was excellent. The live kitchen during dinner featured thick yet tender beef tongue that tasted amazing—our family thoroughly enjoyed it. The live kitchen at breakfast served French toast, which was so delicious that we went back for seconds despite being full! The onsen was very relaxing; however, since it closes at 10 PM and cleaning started around 9:45 PM, my family felt it might have been slightly early to begin cleaning. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would love to return in the future. Thank you very much!

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Angel Forest Shirakawa Kogen.
    We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience and concern caused to our guests and all related parties due to the food poisoning incident that occurred at Restaurant “La Pina” on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Under the guidance of the public health center, we have carried out thorough cleaning and disinfection within the Facility and conducted a comprehensive review of our hygiene management system.
    On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, an on-site inspection and confirmation of improvements were conducted by the public health center, and the suspension period has ended.
    Accordingly, Restaurant “La Pina” will reopen from Friday, May 15, 2026.
    We take this matter very seriously and will make every effort to restore trust by placing food safety as our highest priority.
    We respectfully ask for your continued support.
