Kintaikyo Onsen Iwakuni Kokusai Kanko Hotel
Yamaguchi Prefecture/IwakuniAn Onsen Property with a spectacular view of Kintaikyo Bridge, one of Japan's three famous bridges, and Iwakuni Castle.
A stunning Hotel featuring one of Japan's three famous bridges, "Kintai Bridge," in its garden. From the open-air bath, you can view the Kintai Bridge and Iwakuni Castle, enjoying the charm of the castle town. Conveniently located just 20 minutes by train to the World Heritage Site Miyajima. An ideal choice for Iwakuni sightseeing.
I didn’t have high expectations since it was cherry blossom season and the rate was reasonable, but although it’s a bit of a walk to the bath, the view was wonderful and helped me relax. The Room was a twin (shower only) and, since it was at the end of the building, the view was just the sky, but there was a small courtyard garden (maybe), and the Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me slightly was a flapping noise from the air conditioner... Breakfast was delicious while enjoying the view of Kintaikyo Bridge from the restaurant. Overall, I think the Facility is old, but thanks to the staff’s natural smiles that didn’t make you feel that at all, I felt comfortable right until the end.
てつこさんの部屋 3/30/2026A hotel located just a 1-2 minute walk from Kintaikyo Bridge. While the Facility shows its age, you can enjoy exploring the area around Kintaikyo Bridge late in the evening or early in the morning, making for a fulfilling stay. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, and breakfast was served buffet-style with plenty of options, all delicious.
