Every year, we stay here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The hospitality of the staff is outstanding, and we had a truly comfortable stay again this time. What moved us most during this stay was how the staff treated our 5-year-old child as “a valued guest,” just like any adult. It left a strong impression to see the staff greet our child at eye level and speak to them with genuine respect as an individual.Staying with children can sometimes feel uncomfortable, but here our whole family was able to relax from the heart. I wholeheartedly recommend this Accommodation to families who want to experience true hospitality. The staff are truly wonderful. Thank you very much.We requested a birthday cake, and we are always so happy about the photo you take for us at that time. The letter is also a treasured keepsake. We’ve been saying that next time we’d like to stay for two nights. Please let us stay again next year.
にゃん26589 2/18/2026During my trip to Awaji Island last year, I met a lovely woman in the large public bath who told me, “I recommend the Accommodation at Hotel New Awaji in Keino Matsubara,” so I decided to stay here this time.Since we don’t have a car, Awaji Island can be a bit difficult to get around, so it was great that we could take the bus to Riku no Minato Nishiawaji and request the Shuttle Service. On the way back, we planned to visit the Otsuka Museum of Art, and they kindly drove us to the Nishiawaji Shichi bus stop—it was a huge help! (They even arranged the Shuttle Service around our bus schedule and let us relax in the lounge until departure time.)The lounge offers different drinks depending on the time of day, and both the alcohol and coffee were delicious. You can also enjoy café au lait made with Awaji Island milk! The view from the lounge was beautiful—such a luxurious time. It was a little chilly, but walking out to Keino Matsubara’s beach was also stunning. A great resort getaway close by.That said, I felt that the large public bath in the main building wasn’t facing the ocean; it felt more like an open-air bath overlooking an inner courtyard than what I had imagined. We were told in advance that our Room’s open-air bath would be set on the hotter side, but it felt even hotter than expected. They said they could adjust the temperature if we contacted reception, but since it was already late at night, we just used it as is.Our Room was on the mountain side, and waking up to that morning view felt wonderful. The morning bath was amazing too (I got used to how hot it was). For dinner we chose three-year fugu—both the carpaccio and hot pot were delicious. Plus an Awaji beef steak as well! It was an exceptional dinner. In the morning we couldn’t decide and ended up choosing breakfast buffet in main building. Even though we arrived right near closing time, they kept everything well stocked with local Awaji specialties, and we enjoyed plenty of delicious food.We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you again—we’d love to return!
