Hotel Okura Kobe is a high-rise hotel located on the seaside of Kobe. With the sea to the south and the Rokko mountain range to the north, it is an "urban oasis" filled with tranquility and openness, even while situated in the heart of Kobe's city center. We promise our guests a relaxing hotel stay with heartfelt service and flavors that cater to VIPs from around the world.
This was my first stay in Kobe in a while, and I had a very satisfying time thanks to the calm interior decor (Tango no Sekku) and the relaxed atmosphere. Of course, the staff were attentive and the food was delicious. The Okura name is clearly being carried on, and I would like to visit again next time.

The outstanding service quality, beautiful night views, and delicious meals were all wonderful. At the restaurant we used for dinner, you took thorough care regarding allergies, for which we are truly grateful. We were also very impressed when we bought a cake to eat in the Room and you provided plates and forks as well. Reflecting on Kobe’s strength—from Japan’s development in the Meiji era shown at Kitano Ijinkan to the path of recovery from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake felt on the way back to the Hotel and at Kobe Port Memorial Park—this became an unforgettable trip. Thank you very much.
