This Hotel is outstanding in every respect, including the cuisine, the view from the Room, the large public bath, cleanliness, and service. The buffet was exceptionally luxurious in both quality and variety.

The bedding was high-quality, providing excellent comfort. I chose the Plan with one private bath session included, and the sense of openness was outstanding! Being close to the station is definitely a big plus. It was worth taking a spontaneous trip to see the ocean.

We stayed here to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary trip. We enjoyed the Resort Hotel-style building, the view from our Room, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, an open-air bath overlooking the sea, and a three-star buffet. It was wonderful to experience something out of the ordinary. It’s an easy trip—about two hours by car—so we can visit casually. We’d like to stay here again from time to time. Thank you very much.

One small note: the balcony railing feels obstructive to the view. Since the balcony is undoubtedly non-smoking, removing the fixed railing would allow guests to fully enjoy the stunning reverse Hakodate night view. Of course, even as it stands now, this is a wonderful Hotel.

This time I booked the stay with breakfast included. The Facility, including the bath, had a calm atmosphere and was very comfortable, and I felt again that choosing this Hotel was the right decision. At the breakfast venue, there were neatly dressed golfers and other guests wearing yukata and slippers—people likely there for different purposes—and I wondered whether yukata were not allowed during breakfast hours. I hope guests will understand the Hotel’s concept and dress appropriately for the occasion. The breakfast was delicious, but I would be happy to see a few more local specialties.

Every spring, we look forward to staying at Toba Grand Hotel. Since last year, our family has grown with a dog, so we stayed in the open-air bath guest room “Waon,” and this year again our whole family was able to relax and return home refreshed after a year of fatigue. We were a little disappointed by some changes and reductions in service—such as the welcome fruit no longer being offered and patissiere Seri’s dog cookies no longer being available—but overall it was a stay that soothed both body and mind thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff. Thank you very much. It’s a popular Hotel that becomes harder to secure a Reservation every year. We wanted to do a Multiple Night Stay in Waon this time as well, but unfortunately it wasn’t available. Even though we’ve only just returned home, our whole family is already determined to get a Multiple Night Stay Reservation for next year.

My first stay in Enoshima. Maybe because it was a weekday, they even upgraded us. The spacious Room and the open-air bath while enjoying the view outside were amazing! If I had to mention one thing, there was only Chinese cuisine for dinner, so as seniors we wished there had been more options, but the Chinese food was still very delicious (laugh). Also, the breakfast bento was far better than expected, the staff’s attentiveness was wonderful, and it turned into a very satisfying short trip. Thank you! I’ll make another Reservation!

It was my first time staying in Hagi, and I was moved by the wonderful scenery that truly lives up to the name “Hagi Hakkei.” I asked to change dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. so I could watch the sunset from my Room, and I was able to take my time enjoying the sun slowly sink

We’d like to try again next time. Also, dining in a semi-private setting allowed us to enjoy the dishes in a calm atmosphere. Every dish made with local ingredients was delicious. The simmered fish was especially good, and I would have liked to eat it together with rice. I

We were able to relax in a retro yet well-kept Room. The main meal, especially the tuna, was truly outstanding, and everything—from the delicious dishes and local sake to the freshly cooked rice—was wonderful, allowing us to enjoy a lovely time. I arrived at 2 PM with an early check-in. Despite the last-minute request, the staff kindly accommodated me. First, I went to the main building where I was welcomed with a drink. The view of the ocean right in front of me was breathtaking! While enjoying the stunning scenery of the sun and sea, I received an explanation about the facility. I used a private open-air Onsen with a Japanese-style design. It was more spacious than it looked in photos, allowing for a relaxing soak in the Onsen. The changing room was also large and clean, with towels provided so you can use it hands-free. After bathing, I enjoyed coffee from a De'Longhi coffee machine while spending some leisurely time. The room was clean and spacious, and as soon as I entered, there was a fresh scent of wood that gave off a sense of newness. For dinner, since I brought my own food ingredients, charcoal for grilling was delivered at 6 PM as requested. Using this charcoal grill along with rice cooked in an electric pressure cooker (which cooks rice in just 20 minutes) provided one of the best dining experiences I've had. Later on, I enjoyed some drinks at the main building before returning to my room to relax in another bath while listening to ocean waves—a perfect moment doing absolutely nothing! The only downsides were that one dish had leftover sauce from previous use and hadn’t been cleaned properly; also, when trying to use a lantern provided by them—it wasn’t charged enough and turned off after just two seconds even if tipped over slightly. Despite these minor issues overall cleanliness stood out positively! I'd love visiting again on sunny days ahead—thank you very much!

We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the baths, and the meals. From the pleasant Shuttle Service driver, to the front desk staff, the baths were clean and relaxing, with wonderfully soft water, and the meals featured a menu showcasing local specialties. Perfectly paired with the famous local sake “Zaku”! The open, airy feel of the lobby and the 5th-floor terrace, the attentive care of the proprietress, and both experienced Japanese staff and younger international staff— everyone showed thoughtful hospitality at every key moment. It was a truly wonderful stay at Senpoukaku. We can’t wait to visit again!

The Room and Facility are slightly old, but the layout was satisfactory. The large public bath and breakfast buffet deserve five stars. It would be perfect if there were additional outlets on the side. Great value for money!
